During high wind conditions the (lightly tensioned) wires that travel along the Flagpole can become twisted, a gentle tug relieves them, but that assumes the operator detected the twist.

To avoid the situation, 3 pairs of nylon bushings were added.

Each bushing was reamed out with a 45 degree chamfer and the 3 pairs were attached to the Flagpole using stainless steel hose clamps.
